The Small Business Development Center (SBDC), hosted by College of the Canyons, offers free (no fees ever) 1-on-1 personal and private Business Counseling and low cost training workshops in several locations throughout the San Fernando Valley.

The SBDC, funded by the Small Business Administration (SBA), provides free 1-on-1 face to face counseling to new and existing small business owners on all business issues including:

Ben Tenn has more than 35 years of business experience, with a focus on marketing, sales and general management. He has been a corporate executive at Disney and Activision and the co-owner of a $10 million small business. He has been an independent business consultant since 1996 serving local and national small businesses, a successful presenter of marketing seminars, a columnist for the SFV Business Journal and a marketing instructor for UCLA Extension. He earned his MBA from UCLA.
